November ISTATION test
Yesterday we went to the computer lab to take our November Istation test. This is a very important test. Dr. Lawrence looks at our scores every month and we want him to know how smart we are! Ms. Griffiths told us if we do our best, that we would get a surprise. We did a WONDERFUL job (20% to 52% Tier 1) so we were rewarded with:
We can't wait until December to see what surprise we get for doing our very best.........

Sea, Sand and Stars Field Trip
On Tuesday our class went on a field trip to Sea, Sand, and Stars in Orange Beach. We learned stars and sea animals. We saw fish, crabs, a sting .ray, and different kinds of starfish. Thank you Ms. Lisa for all you taught us!
Payton, Jasmin and JMarion
Ms. Lisa taught us that fish need scales. Scales protect them from getting sick. We put scales on our fish with paint dots.
Ms. Lisa showed us starfish. Did you know there are different kinds?
Here are the chocolate chip and brittle starfish.
Here is the brittle star up close.
We all got to put our hands in the water tank
and touch the ocean life!
We even let Mrs. Laurendine and her class come along!
